Buddy Wasisname & the Other Fellers is an unusual Newfoundland group that switches effortlessly between comedy and traditional jigs, reels, and waltzes. The group consists of Kevin Blackmore, Ray Johnson, and Wayne Chaulk. Highly talented musicians and songwriters, they liven up the dance floor with numbers like "Jesse Collins' Slipway" and "Devil's Own Hoof" and then have you rolling on it with comic songs like "Peein' in the Snow" and "The Miracle Cure." These albums are just the thing when you've maxed out on seriousness. And the "straight" tracks provide perfectly timed relief from the comic relief. Any album will do--they're all fun.
