Victoria singer-songwriter Don Chambers has put together a solid debut album with Free Falling, a collection featuring songs like "Sing River Sing," inspired by a canoe trip, "One by One," written for a peace rally, "Georgia," dedicated to a faltering pet dog, and "Free Falling," inspired by involvement in preserving old growth forest. Chambers' pleasant voice and uncluttered acoustic guitar arrangements make this a very enjoyable folk recording from an emerging songwriter. Free Falling was produced by Allen des Noyers.
