For a short while Irish master fiddler Seamus Creagh immigrated to Canada and made his home in Newfoundland before returning to Ireland. While in Canada he recorded Came the Dawn--accompanied by Newfoundland musicians. Creagh's technique is light and restrained. An immensely satisfying album.
