(Contemporary; Jugband; Bluegrass; Singer-Songwriter)

Jughead is a Toronto jug band that likes to have a good time. They are known for their Saturday afternoon matinées at Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern where they fit ten or more musicians on stage and let rip on jug, washboard, kazoo, washtub, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, and accordion. Their lighthearted lyrics, such as "Bury Me in My Shades," are captured on Uncorked!. Jughead, on this album, is Michael "Lopez" Phillips, John Mets, Michael Smith, Dan Ouellette, Andrew Queen, Doug Queen, Christopher Quinn, Nik Tjelios, Brian Morgan, and Michael F. Jursic
