On Angel on the Shoreline, British Columbia singer-songwriter Dyhan Roberts combines pop and country elements with folkish lyrics and acoustic guitar playing. Highlights of the album include "Angel On The Shoreline," "Little Bird," "One by One," "Undeniable Heat," and "Flying High on One Wing." James Keelaghan is guest vocalist on "Firelight." Roberts has a fine voice, but her very electric arrangements may lean too heavily into pop for some folkies.
